2025 North American Tour

All of us here at Stage AE in Amphitheater in Pittsburgh are so excited to welcome Vance Joy to the stage as he takes on his 2025 North American Tour for all of our viewing and listening pleasure. Vance is scheduled to take on nineteen shows across The States and Canada. And with shows lined up at The Firefly Distillery in North Carolina, a show at D.C.’s National Parks, one up in Quebec City, and of course - right here at Stage AE - this tour is bound to be a once in a lifetime, core memory that we just can’t miss. 

Vance Joy is the Melbourne-born singer that, if he wasn’t already, needs to be on your list of must sees for live acts in summer 2025. Vance got his start back in 2013, reaching international acclaim just a year later with his debut album God Loves When You Are Dancing, and the lead single from the album, Riptide. Not many artists can mount an international tour just off their first two albums - but then again,maybe Vance isn’t just any artist. In 2014 on the heels of his Dream Your Life Away record, Vance toured all of Australia, Europe, Canada, and The States. He played Lollapalooza and SXSW on that run, too, and from the hype of his massive appeal and critical acclaim - he opened for Taylor Swift on her 1989 tour back in 2015. Vance has always been in the background, slowly grabbing accolades and attention from the major industry players. Now, he’s ready to do the same for a new generation of indie artists - and that’s why you gotta love him, and why you gotta get to the show early, too! 

Without being SO brief, each of Vance’s opening acts are so unique but also so in line with his lineage of sultry warm acoustic sounds that he brings to stage - and you gotta make sure to check them out yourself when you need a moment of peace in your morning or before going to bed. Evan Honer let’s his lyrics do all the talking and his guitar add a progression to his deep cutting words, Jonah Kagen combines his style of bedroom folk with lots of reverb and intense production (and of course - lots of guitar), and Kyle Schuesler​ bring a glass of fresh water to the indie pop scene - slowing down the sound and focusing all on the storytelling. Like we said - all of them are just too good to miss, so you’re just going to have to get there early, sorry not sorry.
