Born and bred in Kansas City, Missouri, 1971, Tech N9ne went from small beginnings to become known for his unique “machine gun” hardcore rap style, and his musical style which is engaging, yet dark, having been described as “apocalyptic music” by Soren Baker of VH1. Emerging onto the scene in the 90's and selling over two million records since, Tech N9ne has since started his own successful record label. Now onto his 16th release, Tech N9ne's latest output regularly enters the top 5 in the US Charts. In 2008, his song “Earthquake” made it onto America's Best Dance Crew, airing on MTV, in which the participants had to convey the title of the song through the visual elements of their performance! His songs have appeared in various films, television shows such as Dark Angel and The Hills, and video games, (he's even an unlockable playable character in 25 to life!!) and he has made multiple TV appearances both to perform and as a guest.

Tech N9ne's Strange Music label, after the release of his 16th studio album “The Storm” late last year and Krizz Kaliko's “Go” album in April, expects to drop a further 13 from the artists on their roster this year – hugely exciting news!!!
