Primus are on tour supporting their most recent album, "The Desaturating Seven” released in September last year. The album is thematically based around Ui de Rico’s children's book "The Rainbow Goblins” a favorite of Les Claypool’s children. The frontman saw particular relevance to the current political climate in the story and pitched the idea to the band of making an album about it. "It's a story about gluttonous individuals sucking the colors out of the world," he explained. "The overuse of resources by the greedy elite, and how the meek masses can overcome them in the end by unifying… It seemed pretty relevant these days.”
