If you didn’t already know, Men I Trust is a super popular Canadian indie band which was formed in Quebec City, Quebec. Formed in 2014, the band consists of Emmanuelle Proulx (lead vocals and guitar), Jessy Caron (guitar and bass), and Dragos Chiriac (keyboards). Over the years, the trio have cooked up their own signature sound. NPR named Men I Trust an electropop band, while Our Culture Mag describes the band as indie, and The Fader described their style as dream pop.
Men I Trust has self-released all of their songs and has dropped physical editions on the quirky Canadian indie/independent label Return to Analog. They independently dropped four studio albums: Men I Trust (2014), Headroom (2015), Oncle Jazz (2019) and Untourable Album (2021). What's more, they also issued two physical-only extended plays, Men I Trust (2017) and Tailwhip (2018).
