The tour includes stops in Canada, the U.K, Europe, and the U.S. If you are looking forward to catching her live at Stage AE on 9th February, make sure you grab your tickets right now before they sell out! The upcoming tour has some new dates added, including rescheduled events of an earlier tour that had to be canceled.
Lucy Dacus hails from Richmond, Virginia, and started her musical career while employed with Richmond Camera as an editor for children’s photos. In 2015, she performed in New York for the first and her debut single, I don’t Wanna be Funny Anymore, premiered in the same year. Her first album, No Burden, was produced by her hometown friends, after which Dacus eventually signed with Matador Records. In 2016, she also made her television debut on CBS This Morning. The same year, she also performed at the London Calling festival in Amsterdam, in place of The Duke Spirit, who had to cancel.
Dacus has also announced a new version of her hit song, Thumbs. Thumbs is one of the most fan-favorite tracks of Dacus that talks about her trauma and describes a series of unfortunate events. Dacus expressed sincerely about Thumbs, saying that one does not owe anyone else anything, so it's best to do what you think is right for you. With a new album and a reincarnation of Thumbs, fans are already pretty excited about the upcoming tour. If you’re one of them, you need to get your tickets right now. Stage AE sells out pretty quickly and a Lucy Dacus concert is high in demand anyway!
