Halestorm are a hard rock four piece band from Pennsylvania, U.S. Fronted by female vocalist, Lzzy Hale, known for her distinctive and powerful, graspy sound.
The record's first single, "I Get Off," is built around a sexy hook with a rough and funky grooves. "On that song," says Lzzy, "I reach outside of myself and explore sexuality. It also has this crazy metaphor of me getting off on the crowd getting off on me."Her influences are varied, from singers such as Janis Joplin and Metallica, there is a real sense of woman power and sensuality that comes through in her live performances and lyrical content which definitely isn't afraid to fit outside the box.
