Explosions In the Sky Tickets from $60

This is not the end. It's only the start of a never-ending rockin' chapter with Explosions In The Sky. Releasing their newest album "End" back in 2023, seven years since they put out new material, fans raved and scrambled to get their hands on tickets to their first run of "The End Tour". Despite its name, the band isn't breaking up any time soon. It's simply their "seventh, but not final, studio album."

Now, after a successful headlining run for 2024, the band just announced spring 2025 dates for The End Tour, hopping across major cities in the country. If you missed out on their shows over the previous year, this is your chance to catch their rockin' energy live on stage. Serving up their best hits, fan favorites, and new anthems, it's definitely their best tour yet. Seven frikin' years behind the scenes, it's amazing to see the band rock it all out once again.

Talking about the LP's name, drummer Chris Hrasky shares that they knew people were gonna think they're breaking up. "But it wasn’t a statement of, ‘We have finished our work here and we are now changing.’ Everyone’s been in this awful nightmare for the last several years, and I think of the title almost as a pleading, ‘Can this just end, please?’ It definitely isn’t this apocalyptic statement," he told SPIN Magazine.

A dramatic gesture, it definitely caught the public eye. As fans held on to hope that they'd come around with new music, "End" seemed to be the best way to shake everyone up. Over twenty years in the industry, the band has matured and developed their "cathartic mini-symphonies" that struck people's hearts. Known for their emotional shows, it's an enthralling experience that feels like you're immersed in a film. "All of the films that inspired us ultimately made the character of Explosions in the Sky," Munaf Rayani told SPIN.

As "the concept of an ending—death, or the end of a friendship or relationship," End means coming to terms with how on earth everything is going to end. Now, that marks the beginning of Explosion In The Sky's massive comeback. Back on tour, you can expect explosive performances at their theatrical and mysterious emotional live shows. If you haven't been to one of their shows before, get ready to feel your heart skip a beat to their larger-than-life audio-visual feasts.
