Everyone here at the Stage AE Outdoor Amphitheater in Pittsburgh (right on our city’s North Shore) is so excited to welcome in Ethel Cain and 9million as they close out our Summer concerts and bring in the Autumn vibes for us right here on Thursday, September 4th. The Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour will see the Cain gang hitting up fifty dates across the world from August to November - including spots like The Greek Theatre at Berkeley, Chicago’s Salt Shed, two dates in Atlanta at the end of August, and of course - right here in Pittsburg at the AE.

Ethel Cain’s rise has been like a shooting star - seemingly coming out of nowhere in a dazzling and spectacular way, but then you realize it was actually in view for a few moments before and you didn’t really notice it (or her, for this instance). Hayden Silas, the record producer and model is from Tallahassee Florida and has been working on the professional scene since 2017. Her debut album Preacher’s Daughter was an online smash hit - garnering her critical acclaim and cult legend status on Tiktok and other social media platforms. Basically, she’s what Lana Del Rey set out to be at the beginning of her career - and maybe Ethel being the second iteration of a slow, dark, Rock and Soul Princess is her advantage. Her image is pristine, and the soundscapes she creates in her music is a testament to that. She gives an insanely good live performance and the vibes are always top notch - so it makes sense why she would bring 9million with her on tour to bring in the ethereal vibes before she takes center stage.

9million is a largely unknown name but has a recognizable sound that instantly takes you to a place of nostalgia from your younger years when you hear the band’s music. Also Florida natives, upon announcement of the opening spot for Ethel’s tour the group’s instagram page blew up. They’ve scheduled five shows (adding three more from the originally planned ones) to their London dates, and it seems like the self proclaimed Shapeshifters are ready to rock and roll for the long hall. After this tour, there will be no mistaking who 9million is - the question is, will you be ahead of the curve or have your friends telling you about them in a few months? You decide…
