Ava Max is an Albanian-American singer-songwriter who took the world by storm when she released the single "Sweet But Psycho." Her songs appealed drastically to younger generations who leaned towards powerful lyrics and pop music. The 29-year-old singer grew up with her mother, a trained opera singer, and her father, a pianist. Max came up with the middle name Ava when she was 13 years old because she didn't like being called Amanda while growing up.
Max is outspoken about female empowerment, which is reflected in her music. She released "Kings & Queens," which topped the Billboard Adult Top 40 and was featured in other artists and a film. The song is part of the international breakthrough "Heaven & Hell" album, which is also included popular songs such as "So Am I" and "Blood Sweat And Tears." The album peaked at number two on the UK Albums Chart and number 27 on the Billboard 200, after which Max featured in a BBC Radio 2 for a Children In Need charity. Max is of proud Albanian descent and stated she would love to give back to the community.
Ava Max will drop by Stage AE this June 23 as a headlining act of the "Pride on the Shore," along with the authentic artist Fletcher. A former X-Factor alumna, Fletcher rose to stardom after her 2015 single "War Paint" with the producer Jamie Kenney went viral on Spotify. She released her debut EP, "Finding Fletcher," the following year after Spotify added her to its Spotlight List. And the rest was history. Now, Fletcher is one of the most sought-after pop stars in the music business. Several artists like Betty Who, Jordy, Aura Mayor, Aquaria, and others will also join in the fun. Thus, this is going to be one epic concert event. It's just a few months away, so book your tickets as soon as possible!
