Baltimore-rooted American rock band, All Time Low, has continuously set the bar for pop and emo-induced hard-hitting punk attacks. Formed in 2003 as a high school cover band, All Time Low scored record deals here and there, amassing a dedicated following for their hard-hitters such as "Dear Maria, Count Me In", "Weightless", "A Love Like War" featuring Vic Fuentes, "Good Times", and "Monsters" featuring Blackbear.
Having revealed two tracks off of their forthcoming album "Tell Me I'm Alive", All Time Low threw in a Valentine's Day surprise with yet another new song off of the anticipated record. Singing "Modern Love" as a beautiful disaster, All Time Low hits the feels of the quest for connection in this world.
"Modern Love’s a beautiful disaster’ are the words of a desperate, love-sick soul and the main character of our newest song ‘Modern Love,’ who is obsessed with the quest for connection in a world that’ll often break your heart," Gaskarth shared.
Previously, the band shared new singles "Sleepwalking" and the album's title track as a taste of what to expect in TMIA. With hard-hitting monologues that encapsulate pop-punk masterpieces, excitement over the release of their new record grew even bigger.
In an Instagram post, Gaskarth shared, "We wrote TMIA immediately after writing Sleepwalking… It was one of those ‘OK, the pressure’s off’ moments towards the end of the creative process. We felt like we had our first single and came into the session like the last day of school; no stress, no need to deliver anything specific,"
As a powerful track that serves as what encapsulated their new album, "Real glad to have this one out in the world. Hope it makes you wanna run through a wall." Gaskarth added in a comment.
When the band found their big break with "So Wrong, It's Right" and its hit single "Dear Maria, Count Me In", All Time Low was met with global acclaim as they came by surprise, hailed as "Band of the Year" in 2008 by Alternative Press. In 2009, "Nothing Personal"', their third album, hit #4 on the Billboard 200, together with its lead single "Weightless" becoming an instant hit.
A slew of hit records and singles followed throughout their career, such as "Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't)", "I Feel Like Dancin'", "Somewhere in Neverland", "A Love Like War" featuring Vic Fuentes, "Dirty Laundry", and "Monsters" featuring Blackbear becoming crowd-favorites.
Following the release of the entirety of Tell Me I'm Alive on March 17th, All Time Low is embarking on a headlining tour in support of their new album. They'll be joined by Mayday Parade and Games We Play as opening acts.
With big surprises to be expected, make sure to save your spots at the tour by booking your tickets now!
