Puscifer comes to Stage AE on Friday 1st April 2016

What should you expect from a Puscifer live show? Expected the unexpected. Dubbed as “a premiere improvisational hardcore band”, Puscifer is always pushing the envelope, breaking boundaries, experimenting on the experimental, yet assures you of a helluva great time.

Alt-rock fans know that Maynard James Keenan is from the band Tool and A Perfect Cricle. Yet they found a new hero in him through Puscifier. “Simply a playground for the various voices in my head, […] a space with no clear or discernible goals, […] where my Id, Ego, and Anima all come together to exchange cookie recipes,” is how Kennan describes this solo projected that he crafted way back in 1995. In Puscifer, he is constantly cooking up and cranking up the most outlandish live acts with the mind-blowing music that go along with it. Anything but cookie-cutter.

“This show is so much more than just a band regurgitating songs,” says Maynard. “This is a multimedia performance unlike anything you’ve ever witnessed. There are those who know, and there are those who will know soon enough.” Guitarist Mat Mitchell adds, “Round 1 was a blast for us, looking forward to more bone breaking fun in Round 2!”
