It’s their BIGGEST TOUR YET. The crowd-favorite indie act FLIPTURN is taking a turn back! Feeling burnt out after three years of continuous touring, the band wrote a song about it, and can’t wait to hit the road once more. Telling the tale of the ins and outs of playing music on the road, they wouldn’t change a thing after every experience that shaped who they are today. Recalling how every single night was so much fun, the band can’t help but tease their new tracks and express how excited they are too see all of their fans again.
Sharing the new album’s lead single “Rodeo Clown”, BURNOUT DAYS is marking its grand release in January 2025. Teasing another song “Juno”, the band is out here spitting out their honest feelings and thoughts over the last three years. A form of escapism and telling real stories of what they went through, the Flipturn serves it all up with their irresistible hooks and alluring melodies — the very reason why fans are hooked on their beats.
“A lot of our family and friends for years would assume that the rockstar lifestyle was how they saw it in movies or pop culture but in reality it is a much different experience,” Mitch Fountain shared. “‘Juno’ is meant to highlight the toxic positivity that I think we’ve all experienced when we feel like we need to tell our friends and family ‘we’re living the dream’ when we are still very much chasing the dream.”
Still chasing the dream, they’ve decided to live every moment with no regrets — hoping to see and experience all the support their fans give on the road once again. “Three years later, we’re playing rooms we never thought possible because y’all kept coming to shows and telling people about our music,” they wrote on a Facebook post.
Whipping up an electrifying show, the BURNOUT DAYS TOUR is bound to be their biggest yet. From college house gigs to jam-packed concert venues across the country, their success wasn’t an overnight miracle. Fueled by each members’ passion to rock it out, Dillon Basse, Tristan Duncan, Mitch Fountain, Madeline Jarman, and Devon VonBalson all worked hard to chase the dream they’re living today. Though it wasn’t all glitter and gold, they wouldn’t change a single bit of the journey.
“Burnouts can happen whenever you're so passionate about something that you throw yourself into it one hundred percent,” Basse said. Knowing they pushed themselves too hard, “this record is about being OK with it, and finding ways to cope with it,” sharing how they love what they do.
