Stage AE
What’s coming to Stage AE in late October is pretty hard to describe. If you had to talk a friend into going to a TVBOO concert, and you’re talking about his look and his antics, they may seem the complete opposite of his music. In any case, TVBOO is taking his Daisy Dukes & Cowboy Boots Tour to Stage AE in Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 26th. He’s bringing some company on this road trip.
Shlump is the first name that appears below TVBOO on the tour poster. Make of that what you will! It doesn’t necessarily mean that he’ll come on stage right before TVBOO every night. He’s got some pretty upbeat leaning on psychedelic tracks, in a good way, of course. It’s a nice opportunity to warm up on this night.
Smith. is another one of the performers on this night. He loves to use pop culture references, particularly from movies, in his tracks. Of course, he’s not the first DJ to walk this path. As an opening act, it can get people excited; even if you don’t recognize the track, you can hold on to the intro and flow from there.
Mport had a really cool bit with TVBOO on his podcast, where they were talking about going on tour. He’s also one of those DJs who uses a lot of vocals from well-known references in his mix tapes. That’s going to be a constant on this night. It really helps the audience connect with what’s coming from the stage.

Without a doubt, TVBOO has really leveraged his sense of relatability to generate legions of fans who are now selling out his shows. If you’re paying attention, you may say to yourself, how is someone who is hard to describe relatable? The reason that he’s hard to describe is because there aren’t too many DJs that come out of Jackson, Mississippi, and look like Joe Dirt’s lost cousin. To be fair, that wasn’t necessarily the original look that Mitch Draper had when he was starting out in the electronic music scene. He was a more traditional clean-shaven hoodie wearing DJ. He’s let his hair grow out, both literally and metaphorically, and we’re all here for it! If you want to hear mixes with a Beyonce song, T-Pain or even Limp Bizkit, TVBOO is who you want to see live.
The fact that he uses some well-known tracks sometimes as the base of his mix tapes or heavy vocals allows even non fans of hardcore electronic music to enjoy the show. Most of the opening acts fall right along the same lines. Therefore, this show at Stage AE on Saturday, October 26th, is one where you can comfortably come out and just enjoy the vibe all night long. Speaking of that relatability, his podcast has helped him grow his popularity a ton. The fans just feel like it’s one of their own on stage. If you come out with your buddies to Stage AE, it’s going to be a very friendly setting for sure.
Speaking of Stage AE there are going to be two sections open on this night. There’s the bottom floor and the top floor. Not too big of a decision here, just get together and pick which area suits you best. Keep in mind that TVBOO is known for his interactions with the fans.
