He has been in the US this year for the first time since 2022 and is excited to be promoting and playing tracks from his latest studio release, ‘Little Vice’. Robin Skinner, better known as Cavetown, self-released his first album at the age of sixteen. He has repeatedly shown he has a wonderful knack of uncovering personal experiences and emotions in his material in a way that has listeners clinging to every word in his songs. His single, ‘Prom Dress’ became an online viral sensation with over 125 Spotify streams and has been used in over 100,000 TikTok videos.
Cavetown has a disarming power that conveys vulnerability and shows beautifully in his close-knit live shows that feel personal. Due to his talent and authenticity, he has amassed a global following and also caught the attention of critics and influential media, such as The FADER, V Magazine and The New York Times. NME hailed him as a, ‘bedroompop hero building worldwide community’, after the release of his 2022 studio album, ‘Worm Food’.
Joining Cavetown on tour is the singer song-writer, Frankie Cosmos and her backing band. Cosmos has an enigmatic feel to her music, creating tracks that have been inspired by Frank O'Hara's poetry, DIY ethics of K Records and the early 2000s New York City's anti-folk scene, and will be a brilliant support act for Cavetown’s tour.
