Mod Sun & lovelytheband at The Stage AE

Derek Ryan Smith, otherwise known as Mod Sun, is an insanely talented rapper, singer, songwriter and musician coming from Bloomington, Minnesota. So far, he has released five awesome solo studio records, three EPs, and six epic mixtapes. Starting out as a drummer in the pop punk group the Semester and post-hardcore bands Four Letter Lie and Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Mod Sun began his solo rap career back in 2009… And he’s not about to hit the brakes anytime soon! The release of his amazing fourth solo studio record Internet Killed The Rockstar saw a melodic shift back to his pop punk roots and his most recent studio album God Save the Teen followed in its footsteps. Joining Mod Sun at Stage AE for some of the latest and greatest hits in the alternative music circuit is lovelytheband. The “Broken” hitmakers have been extremely busy this year. The trio - consisting of vocalist Mitchy Collins, guitarist Jordan Greenwald, and drummer Sam Price - has recently dropped new songs “take me to the moon”, “rock bottom”, and “feel like summer.” This tour comes in celebration of the latest hits from this epic lineup. Expected to play their most recent hits as well as all your favorite songs like “Karma” by Mod Sun and “Sail Away” by lovelytheband, this performance will celebrate the very best in the alternative music scene.
